Why we exist
Most pet grooming products in India are either cheap generics with harsh sulfates and parabens, or expensive imports designed for temperate climates. Neither works well for Indian pets — dealing with monsoon humidity, year-round tick pressure, hot pavements, and tropical allergens.
Anistachio was built to fix that. Six plant-based, pH-balanced formulas, GMP and ISO certified, made for Indian conditions, priced for every pet parent.
The formulation principles
pH 6.2–7.4 — matched to your pet
A dog or cat's skin sits naturally at pH 6.5–7.5. Human shampoos at pH 4.5 strip this balance, weakening the skin barrier and causing itch, dryness, and infection. Every Anistachio product is formulated at the correct pH for pets.
Sulfate-free and paraben-free
Sodium lauryl sulfate creates lather but strips natural oils. Parabens preserve product shelf life but are endocrine disruptors. Neither belongs in a grooming product your pet licks, inhales, or absorbs through their skin.
Plant-based actives, not synthetic pesticides
Neem, lemongrass, eucalyptus, tulsi, and turmeric for tick and flea defence. Oatmeal, aloe vera, chamomile, and Pro-Vitamin B5 for itch and allergy relief. Shea butter, beeswax, and coconut oil for paw care. Every active ingredient is on the label.
GMP and ISO certified manufacturing
Manufactured by Cosmico India under both GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) and ISO certification. These are pharmaceutical-grade quality standards — the same that govern human medicines. Not every pet brand can say this.
The Anist ecosystem
Anistachio is the grooming range of Anist — India's home-first veterinary care platform. Anist connects pet parents with VCI-registered vets for home visits across Delhi NCR, maintains lifetime health records for every pet, issues QR vaccine certificates, and routes emergencies to partner hospitals.
When an Anist vet visits your home, they assess your pet's coat and skin as part of the examination. The product recommendation comes from that assessment — not from a generic chart.
